Gilles MEYER - CEO
Gilles Meyer (41) is a technology entrepreneur and the CEO of QuesCom, a provider of advanced telecom appliances.
Previously, he co-founded and was the CEO of Voxpilot, the first pan-European VoiceXML hosting service. Voxpilot was sold to Paris-based Eureka Soft in 2004. Following the sale of the Company, Gilles became CEO of Eurekasoft re-named Voxpilot and has led it to become a major player in its industry with important references all around the globe. Voxpilot was sold in 2008 to TETCO Technologies. Prior to Voxpilot, Gilles was an associate with top tier Management Consulting firm, Booz Allen and Hamilton in NYC and founded his first technology company, Tutticom in 2000. Tutticom was subsequently sold to Voxpilot in 2001. Gilles started his career as an injection moulding plant manager, based in Milan, Italy for a French/Italian company.
Gilles holds a Master in Mechanical Engineering from INSA, a Master in Polymer Sciences from the Ecole d’Application des Hauts Polymeres (EAHP) and an MBA from the Harvard Business School (HBS).
ROBERT URBAN,
Vice-President Sales & Marketing
Robert Urban (43) is a senior international sales executive. He was central in leading, developing and expanding QuesCom’s revenue internationally. Prior to QuesCom he has co-founded and was Director of a successful German value added distributor sold to Cycos AG in 2000, a leading unified communications player, acquired by Siemens Enterprise Communications shortly after. He graduated from University of Karlsruhe in Germany with a Master in Industrial Engineering.
Stéphan MALRIC,
Vice-President of Product Management & Engineering
Stéphan Malric graduated in Information Management System from EISTI, majoring in computer science, management and communication skills. After starting as a software engineer, he developed expertise in telecommunication and was appointed R&D manager for Soft-Inter Technologies, a software editor company of middleware platforms for mainframe computers. He then gained valuable experience as Product Leader for an international telecom company (Landis & Gyr / IPM), where he deployed carrier grade telephony services and subsequently created his own consulting company (Smatch Telecom). Stephan Malric started at Quescom as Business Developer and Product Manager, and is now working as Vice-President of Product Management & Engineering.
FRANCOIS MARITZ, QuesCom South Africa President
Francois Maritz qualified with a diploma in Electronics and completed an apprenticeship in Electronics with Atlas Aircraft Corporation in 1984.
He joined a very successful Research and Development Company subcontracted by Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor). He was very involved in designing some of the Airborne System deployed in the Rooivalk helicopter, Mirage and Cheetah fighter planes. In 1994, he created Innovations that introduced products for the fast growing GSM market. Now QuesCom SA is a worldwide vendor of GSM gateway solutions and biggest LCR vendor in South Africa.
Olivier GEFFROY- Sales Director France & MEA
Olivier Geffroy (44) joined Quescom in 2006 as Sales Director to lead global sales for QuesCom France and Middle East and Africa. In this role, he drives global operations and key growth initiatives developing emerging markets by focusing on Enterprise Sales Integrators, Global Account and Carriers, and by developing partnership with Equipment Manufacturers.
Olivier brings an extensive experience in sales management and strategic business development, including twelve years at Nortel Networks, where he was holding several management positions as Business Unit Director, and seven years at Matra Communications (EADS Telecom), where he was a Global Account Director. He also served as Sales Manager for small and medium sized businesses (SMB) of Data and PBX Solutions, when he started in 1991 at Matra Communications.
Olivier graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (ENST, Paris), and from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG, Paris, N.Y). He also has followed an International MBA cursus at the Columbia Business School, N.Y.
Vincent BRAULT – Sales & Marketing Director
Vincent Brault (41) has spent the last few years building QuesCom’s indirect sales channel by tightly integrating sales and marketing approaches. He started with QuesCom designing and implementing the marketing strategy for the enterprise segment. Prior to QuesCom, Vincent was Product Marketing Director for Right Vision. Right Vision was sold to Alcatel Lucent in 2001. He started his carreer with Unisys in Paris as Product Manager on high end Unix Servers.
Vincent graduated Master in Database in Skema Business School and Compiègne Business School (ESC Compiègne).
